The Philodendron atabapoense is a tropical climbing plant of the Araceae family, native to the state of Amazonas in Venezuela and Brazil.Highly prized by collectors, it is distinguished by its long, narrow (lanceolate) leaves , which are a deep dark green on top and have a magnificent brown-purple or burgundy underside.
